Located at Carlton and Sherborne, Allan Gardens remains one of my most loved spaces in the city of Toronto. Not only is it a great escape in the middle of a harsh Canadian winter, but is a space that is just as impressive as it is welcoming. The grey geometric grid of the metal and glass structure softened by the saturated colours and naturalistic forms of the plant specimens is a relationship between landscape and garden that seems beautifully considered.
